From 5 November to 7 November 2018, in order to enhance Russia’s image on the global market and raise the interest of Expo participants and guests in Russia as a partner country, the Russian exhibition area at the First China International Import Expo will feature an extensive cultural program.

The opening ceremony will feature folk songs, Russian romantic songs, and works by modern composers performed by lead singers of Salekhard District National Cultural Centre (Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District).
During the Expo, the guests of the Russian exhibition area will enjoy concert program titled “World Folk Dances and Songs” that will include Bulgarian, Irish, Spanish, Mexican, Moldavian, and Slovak musical and choreographic works. The cultural program at the Expo will include over 40 artists.
Performances of Russian musical ensembles have always been popular in China. A concert program during the Expo will create a warm environment at the Russian exhibition area, which will strengthen bilateral relationships and allow for further development of the Russia-China partnership in joint projects displayed at the Expo by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
